Available in Heavyweight only, the Taylor Ace is a very forgiving bowl, featuring a drawing arc that is slightly wider than that of the Vector VS bowl and its dual purpose design lends itself ideally for any position on the rink whether that be indoors or outdoors.
Not surprising really that the Taylor Ace is their most popular bowl and a firm favourite amongst the professionals of the game. The Ace is a very solid all round bowl and is capabale of playing in any position from skip to lead and is suitable for both indoor bowls and out.
Just like all our flat green bowls, the Taylor Ace is priced and sold as a set of 4 bowls. Heavyweight as standard the Ace also features the standard Taylor Progrip. We have a selection of coloured mounts available for this bowl, the colours are dependent on the size of bowl that you select.
What is Progrip?
Progrip is one of Taylor’s most recognised grips. The unique deep dimple circular grip provides the bowler with an excellent control when playing in any weather condition. The Taylor Ace bowl features Progrip as standard.
