Manufactured to the high standards that is expected from one of the leading producers of bowls, the Taylor Elite bowl is minimal decoration but don’t let that fool you, this bowl comes highly recommended by crown green legend Gary Ellis and is a worthy choice for many a keen crown green bowler.
The Elite standard density bowl is a great option if you’re looking to finish the bowling season with the same bowl, it’s one of our most affordable bowls for crown green and is very popular with beginners to the game too. The standard density bowl performs well on fast and slow greens, ofcourse a high density and/or low density variation would out perform on their specific greens, but if you’re looking for a very affordable bowl, general purpose bowl that will do the job well on all greens, then the Taylor Elite standard would be a great choice.
The Elite model will ofcourse perform to the same standard that you’ve come to expect from other Bowls in the crown green Taylor range. With a 2 full bias, the Elite high density bowl is often favoured by bowlers who are wanting to perform well on faster greens. Similarly, some bowlers who struggle with hand issues and gripping the bowl often favour higher density as it enables them to still use a bowl of their preferred weight but with a smaller size in their hand. Head on over to our crown green guide to learn more about the differences in bowl density and how it can affect and/or improve your game.
The standard density Elite bowl from Taylor features a 2 full bias for crown green and is available in a selection of coloured mounts. The colours we have in stock are determined by the weight of the bowl that you choose. Sold and priced as a pair just like our entire range of crown green bowls.
