At the Atherley we welcome young and the not so young alike. Whilst we are always happy to have experienced bowlers join our Club, beginners are an important part of our developing new and fresh talent.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer all levels of bowls from relaxed social games right through to the very competitive.

Don’t worry if you do not have shoes or bowls – we can provide these, all you you need do is to come along in comfortable smart casual clothing.

After this, if you decide in your own time to join the Club, we offer free coaching sessions with one of our qualified coaches at mutually convenient times.

Remember, bowls truly is the sport for all regardless of age, sex or physical ability. It is a sport that takes just seconds to learn – and the rest of your bowling career to master!
