Corsham Bowls Club is located in Station Road, close to the centre of the Wiltshire market town of Corsham. The green is in a lovely setting between the Cricket Club (one of the oldest in England) and the Pounds Arts Centre, with views of the historic Almshouses.
The Club runs several teams in Wiltshire Bowls leagues, but also has less formal social bowls evenings on a Friday evening and free coaching sessions on Tuesday evenings. If you want to give bowls a try please go to the page ‘give it a try’.
There is a licensed bar in the club house which is open when matches (formal & informal) are being played. Social membership is available for those that just want to spectate and chat in pleasant surroundings.
Corsham Bowls Club welcomes new players by inviting them to try bowling any Tuesday(*) evening during the season (mid April to mid September) Just turn up at the club in Station Road, between the Cricket Club and the Pound Centre, between 6 – 7 pm. If you have flat shoes (e.g. trainers, etc.), please bring them along.
We will supply you with bowls and basic instructions on playing and scoring.
Coaching will be provided free of charge by our qualified coaches, Eileen Mitchell and Sue Hunt, with help from other members.

Try it for a few evenings, at no cost, and see if you like the game and the company. Don’t worry about being embarrassed, just enjoy yourself. We welcome prospective members regardless of age. We run ladies’ and gentlemen’s sections and have mixed games. Juniors are also welcome.
