Peterborough & District Bowls Centre, founded in 1958, is the premier Club in the area offering both indoor and outdoor flat green bowling.
The Centre has nine indoor rinks and an outdoor green, which accommodate all levels of bowler, from the coaching of both adult and junior beginners, to International players.
The clubs have a great history in the game with successes at both County and National levels, for individuals, men, women and juniors.
A full programme of social and bowling events are organised throughout the year. The club is fully accessible and complies fully with the disability act.
We hope that you find this new site informative, but please do not hesitate to contact us with your suggestions, if you feel it could be even better.
Facilities
The Club is very busy during the Winter Indoor Season, and whilst offering casual play for those who prefer non competitive games, we also have a large indoor League programme, plus County and National competitions. Our current membership strikes a good balance between them and some members play at the higher level, putting a more competitive edge to their games. Players of any level are welcome to join us.
In the summer months many of our indoor members turn their hand to the Outdoor game, and as with the Indoor season, play can take place at any level with social and league bowling available.
If you are visiting from out of town either to attend one of the games or to visit the town and surrounding areas, there are many options for accommodation. From Britannia Hotel chain to small family run bed and breakfasts, you will have no trouble finding something to suit your taste and budget. We look forward to seeing you soon!
A full coaching scheme is available for both adults and juniors and loan equipment is available for beginners and for the casual player.
